Summer Beauty Essentials

As summer is slowly winding down to an end, I thought that I would share the best beauty products that I am using to keep a glow for the rest of the season. Below, are my favorite summer beauty essentials.

Lipstick Queen Reign & Shine Lip Gloss in Empress of Apricot

Nothing says summer quite like a peachy lip gloss, and this one from Lipstick Queen does just the trick! I have naturally darker lips, and this is one of the few nude lipglosses that actually makes them lighter. It also has hints of gold sparkles, which make it even more fabulous.

Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer

This drugstore fav is the perfect way to achieve a summer glow without the sun. I have naturally pale skin, so I love that I can just put this on after a shower and have sun-kissed skin the next day. It doesn’t create any creases or imperfections, which is key when picking out a self-tanner.

Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base

I love a cream bronzer, and in my opinion, this is one of the best in the world. Compared to a powder bronzer, this one is really soft and silky. I apply it to my skin with a brush, and then buff it out along my cheekbones, forehead, nose, and jawline. If I’m wearing a sleeveless top, I’ll also put a little on my shoulders to make it look as if I’ve been in the sun. I’ve had mine for three years, so it lasts forever compared to any other cream bronzer I’ve tried. The packaging is also so chic and cute.

Clinique Powder Blush in Precious Posy

During the fall and winter, I typically wear a neutral pink blush. In the spring and summer, however, I love to wear a coral one. This blush completely brightens up any complexion. It’s not too light, yet not too heavy, so it lasts all day. It’s also really buildable, incase you decide to add more.

Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara

While I usually prefer a non-waterproof mascara, as waterproof is extremely hard to get off and sticks to the lashes, this one is perfect for the summer humidity. It makes lashes look really long and full, and lasts all day, no matter the weather conditions. Unlike many other mascaras, this one doesn’t flake off throughout the day, even if you put mascara on the bottom lashes.
