My Style Icons

My style is inspired by the world and the people around me. Times and trends change, but the essence of your style stays the same. No matter the decade, there are women that inspire my style everyday and with that, I thought that I would show you who I get my inspiration from and why these women have influenced my style.

  1. Jackie Kennedy Onassis - Jackie O was the the wife of former president John F. Kennedy and former first lady. After the death of her husband, she later went on to marry Aristotle Onassis, landing the nickname “Jackie O.” Whether she was strolling through the White House or the streets of Greece, she was always able to pull off a look that remained effortlessly chic. Her favorites where the camel trench, oversized sunglasses, and the skirt suit. Three pieces that remain in style to this day.

  2. Coco Chanel - Coco Chanel was the founder of popular couture brand, Chanel. Chanel is the brand that made me fall in love with fashion from the tweed textures and monochrome colors. Chanel is the epitome of class, and it has remained timeless, decades later. She is know for the tweed suit, two-toned flats, and pearls.

  3. Jane Birkin - The name Jane Birkin may sound very familiar, giving her notoriety as an actress in France during the 1960s. She also inspired the famous Hermes Birkin, which was named after her. Jane Birkin was not just a French actress, but also a style icon. Her style is more simple and slightly boyish, but nonetheless very sophisticated.
