Summer Style Inspiration: Aerin Lauder

Hello! I’m back and ready to update this blog more regularly!

Since I started college in California last fall, my style has adapted to the climate, and as such, I’ve switched out my loafers for sandals and wool jackets for lightweight blazers. I’ve also tried to add a bit more color to my very neutral wardrobe. I’ve needed to find some more inspiration, and over the year, I developed an obsession with Aerin Lauder, founder and creative director of AERIN and style image director of Estee Lauder.

Aerin has an absolutely amazing sense of style, and just might be one of, if not the most, best-dressed women of our time. She is effortlessly stylish, which an enviable collection of leather sandals, blazers, kitten heels, flare jeans, and just about every other chic staple you can think of.

Something else that makes Aerin’s style truly incredible is that she adapts to where she is. Thus, in Palm Beach, she often wears my favorite combination of jeans, a blazer, and sandals. Whereas Aspen calls for a chunky-knit sweater and fur-lined boots. Regardless of where she is, Aerin’s style elicits the same sense of effortless elegance.
